Why Am I here?
In November 2025, I started to work as a full-time Growth Marketing Manager at Lyssna. After 1 year working witht hem as a freelancer, I really enjoyed the mission, the vision, the team and the challenge. After 10 years working as a freelancer, I knew was the time for me to do this change, to be part of something bigger than myself, to be part of a team. To join one industry that I really found interesting as a marketer and a topic that we are not taugh anywhere, user research.
As Growth Marketing Manager, I believe my role is beyond the goals, targets and tools, frameworks, playbooks and systems. I believe to be good at my role I need to be in the industry and I need to dominate what I do.
I am not an expert on market research, I am not an academy market research or anything like that. I am not here to tell you what you should do. I am here to share my journey as people who do research and learn about the industry by doing. I am here to share how “I” am doing things. I will make mistakes. And if you are an expert, you are welcome to correct me and share with me what to improve and teach me. And if you are not, well, you are welcome to learn with me.
I a marketer, and I am going to talk to marketers particularly in the b2b and saas market, which is where I have experience and spend 95% of my last 10 years.
In this section of my blog, The Diary of a Research Marketer, you are going to see how I am doing market research for marketing teams and most of the time I will use the tool Lyssna. Like I mentioned before, I am working for Lyssna, and that is the main reason, but you could probably do the same using other tools in the industry.
